Reflective Group For SupervisorsA series of 1 1/2 hour monthly sessions for professional supervisors in a small group which is undertaken in six-month blocks; this is a space for supervisors to reflect on issues that arise in the provision of supervision: to think about the work, to identify the dynamics at play, to formulate new responses and develop in the role of supervisor. |
This is a six month course conducted on a fortnightly basis for four hours on Friday mornings. The next course begins 6th August 2010.
This six month course is offered to qualified and established professionals who assist others to develop mastery, depth and responsible practice in the fields of psychotherapy, counselling, mental health and pastoral care.
The training provides a generic framework for the development of supervisory expertise to support optimal expansion of practitioner competence. Course work offers a combination of theory, demonstration, training exercises, reflection, supervised practice and peer practice.
Course Structure: Six months; fortnightly half days on Fridays. For more information see: www.supervisionwa.com.au.
This course is designed to expand the counsellor's capacity to apply mindfulness to their work with clients as a safe method of self study and self mastery for the client; as a basis for using other therapeutic methods; as a pathway to core organising principles in the client's worldview. This course is availble to groups on request.
